10-FnIII scaffold protein anti-Ubiquitin (CAT#: SFN-L028)

The tenth fibronectin type III domain (10Fn3) that bound ubiquitin was isolated from the library using phage display technology. The fibronectin type III domain (FN3) is a small autonomous folding unit which occurs in many animal proteins involving in ligand binding. The β-sandwich structure of FN3 closely resembles that of immunoglobulin domains. After affinity maturation, 10Fn3 variants were identified having affinities (KD=27 nM) for ubiquitin as determined by biosensor technology. It's potential to be used in diagnostic, research and therapeutic applications.
