Mouse Anti-Cocaine benzoyl ester Recombinant Antibody (clone 15A10) (CAT#: PABZ-028)

Recombinant Mouse Antibody (15A10) is capable of binding to Cocaine benzoyl ester, expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary cells (CHO). Catalytic antibody 15A10 hydrolyzes the benzoyl ester of cocaine to form the nonpsychoactive metabolites benzoic acid and ecgonine methylester. 15A10 hydrolyzes the benzoyl ester of cocaine to yield the nonpsychoactive metabolite ecgonine methylester with a kcat of 2. 3 min-1, KM of 220 μM, and kcatkuncat-1 =2. 3x104.

  • The antibody 15A10 has been reported in applications of Functional Assay, Blocking, Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay. It's recommended that the optimal antibody concentration, dilution, incubition time etc. are best to be carefully titrated in specific assays.
    Functional Assay: Rats pretreated with mAb 15A10 showed a significant dose-dependent increase in survival after an LD90 cocaine infusion. The concentration of 15A10 was 5 mg/kg-50 mg/kg.
    Blocking: It is reported that the administration of Mab 15A10 (9 mg) completely blocked the reinforcing effect of cocaine in rat model.
