Anti-HTNV G2 Recombinant Antibody (16E6) (CAT#: MRO-1076LC)

This product is a recombinant mouse anti-Hantaan Virus monoclonal antibody. 16E6 specifically binds to G2 protein associated with HTNV and can be potentially used in the treatment and diagnosis of Hantaan Virus infection.

The indicated HTNV-specific MAbs, HTNV-specific mouse hyperimmune ascitic fluid (HTN-poly), or HPS convalescent-phase serum from Argentina (AND-poly) was used to immunoprecipitate proteins from COS cells transfected with pWRG/HTN-M(x) (H) or pWRG/AND-M (A). +, G1 or G2 was immunoprecipitated; −, no protein was immunoprecipitated; *, both G1 and G2 were immunoprecipitated. Molecular mass marker (M) sizes in kilodaltons are shown on the left, and the positions of G1, G2, and N are shown on the right.

The specificities of secreted MAbs were determined by immune precipitation of viral proteins radiolabelled with L-[3SS]methionine. The Mr values of L-t4C-methylated protein markers (lane 1) are listed on the left. Arrows indicate Hantaan viral envelope (G1 and G2) and nucleocapsid (NC) proteins which were precipitated with polyclonal, hyperimmune mouse ascitic fluid (lane 2). Precipitation by Gl-specific MAbs representing each of the two com- petition groups (1 OF 11, lane 3; 16D2, lane 4), or G2-specific MAbs representing three of five competition groups (5B7, lane 6; 1C6, lane 7; 16E6, lane 8) are shown. Although MAb 2D5 appeared to precipitate both G 1 and G2 (lane 5), competition analysis revealed it to be Gl-specific.
