The Scorpion toxin that bound gp120 was isolated from the library using Phage display techonology. After affinity maturation, Scorpion toxins variants were identified having affinities (KD=8 nM) for gp120 as determined by biosensor technology. It's potential to be used in diagnostic, research and therapeutic applications.
