FGF10

Fibroblast growth factor 10 (FCF10), also known as keratinocyte growth factor-2 (KGF-2), is a member of the FGF family. In 1996, Yamasaki M was derived from rat embryos. Isolated in 208 amino acid residues, the theoretical molecular mass is about 19 kDa. FGF10 is mainly secreted by mesenchymal cells and plays a biological role by interacting with a transmembrane tyrosine kinase receptor (FGFR2b) on the surface of epithelial cells, specifically promoting the proliferation, differentiation and migration of epithelial cells, which is clinically available. For the treatment of mucositis, venous ulcers, ulcerative colitis and other diseases related to the epidermal injury. FGF has a promising market prospect in the treatment of skin and mucous membranes.
