PHOSPHO1

Phosphoethanolamine/phosphocholine phosphatase is an enzyme highly expressed in mineralizing cells with systematic name phosphoethanolamine phosphohydrolase. This enzyme is implicated in bone and cartilage formation and catalyses the following chemical reactions. Phosphatase has a high activity toward phosphoethanolamine (PEA) and phosphocholine (PCho), involved in the generation of inorganic phosphate for bone mineralization.
