PMVK

Armour hydroxyl pentanoic acid phosphate kinase (phosphomevalonate kinase, PMVK) is a member of the GHMP kinase superfamily, is the biosynthesis of terpenoids MVA road speed limit an important enzyme in diameter, and in this way has three consecutive rate-limited rely on ATP. The PMK catalytic second speed is limited. Its function is to transfer the gamma phosphate groups on the ATP to armour hydroxyl pentanoic acid - 5 - (MVAP) generated on the armour hydroxyl phosphate pentanoic acid - 5 - diphosphate (MVAPP). It is one of the key enzymes that control the whole metabolic pathway.
