Excellent For Frozen Sections
We utilized clone 4E3 for immunohistochemistry on frozen sections (IHC-Fr). It stained the Aquaporin 4 channels beautifully. The specificity for residues 301-318 was evident. It is a great tool for studying water channels in the nervous system.
Versatile IP And WB Tool
This mouse monoclonal antibody worked well for both immunoprecipitation and Western Blotting. We were able to pull down AQP4 complexes and then detect them on the blot. The recombinant consistency is a major plus for our ongoing protein interaction studies.
