Recombinant Mouse Antibody (6A7) Fab Fragment is specific to BAX. 6A7 antibody recognizes an epitope comprised of amino acids 13–19 of Bax, which is only accessible on the activated form.

Anti-uBax 6A7 monoclonal antibody was used to immunoprecipitate Bax from the soluble protein extract of murine thymocytes (lane a) either in the absence of detergent (lane b) or in the presence of Triton X-100 (lane c), Triton X-114 (lane d), polydocanol (lane e), W-1 (lane f), Chaps (lane g), octyl glucoside (lane h), dodecyl maltoside (lane i), Tween 20 (lane j), Brij 35 (lane k), or sodium cholate (lane l). Western blotting analyses of the immunoprecipitated samples were carried out with α mBax 5B7 and α uBcl-XL 2H12 monoclonal antibodies.
