Mouse Anti-EGFR Recombinant Antibody (clone mAb175) (CAT#: PABW-171)

Recombinant Mouse Antibody (mAb175) is capable of binding to EGFR, expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary cells (CHO). The affinity of mAb175 for EGFR287–302 ranged from 35 nM (Pms-serine coupling) to 154 nM (amine coupling).

  • The EGFR antibody has been reported in applications of Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Inhibition, Flow Cytometry.
    For WB: Cells were lysed using 1% Triton X-100, 30 mM Hepes, 150 mM NaCl, 500 mM 4-(2-aminoethyl) benzenesulfonylfluoride, 150 nM aprotinin, 1 mM E-64 protease inhibitor, 0.5 mM EDTA, and 1 mM leupeptin (pH 7.4) for 20 min, clarified by centrifugation at 14,000 × g for 30 min, immunoprecipitated with the relevant antibodies at a final concentration of 5 μg/mL for 60 min, and captured by Sepharose-A beads overnight. Samples were then eluted with 2X NuPAGE SDS Sample Buffer, resolved on NuPAGE gels, electro-transferred onto Immobilon-P transfer membrane, and then probed with the relevant antibodies before detection by chemoluminescence radiography.
