Platelet-rich plasma was incubated for 5 min with a titration of monomeric 10B12, with (closed circle) or without (open circle) a saturating concentration (20 μg/ml) of monomeric 1C3. 2.0 μg/ml of fibrillar collagen was added and the rate (C) and extent (D) of aggregation measured. The effect of 20 μg/ml of 1C3 alone in each case is apparent on the y-axis (0 μg/ml 10B12). Results are expressed as percentage of platelet aggregation in the absence of scFvs. Points represent 2-8 determinations from experiments performed on platelets from three individual donors.
