Recombinant Human Antibody (AVFluIgG03) is capable of binding to IAV HA, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Expressed as the combination of a heavy chain (HC) containing VH from anti-IAV HA mAb and CH1-3 region of human IgG1 and a light chain (LC) encoding VL from anti-IAV HA proteins mAb and CL of human kappa light chain. Exists as a disulfide linked dimer of the HC and LC hetero-dimer under non-reducing condition. This human monoclonal antibody bound to the globular head of hemagglutinin (HA) with distinct epitope specificities, neutralization potencies and breadth.

Binding of the A/Vietnam/1203/ 04 H5N1 pseudovirus to MDCK cells was expressed as a percentage of the reading obtained in the absence of antibody, which was set at 100%.

Broad IAV Neutralization
We evaluated the AVFluIgG03 clone for its ability to neutralize various Influenza A Virus strains. This human recombinant antibody, which binds the globular head of HA, demonstrated distinct epitope specificity and neutralization potency in our assays. It is a powerful tool for mapping antigenic sites on HA.
High Quality Recombinant Protein
The antibody was expressed in HEK293 cells and purified to>95% homogeneity. We confirmed the dimerization of the heavy and light chains via non-reducing SDS-PAGE. The functional grade purity (low endotoxin, azide-free) was perfect for our cell-based infection models, ensuring reliable results.

The western blot and ELISA were performed with anti-IAV HA antibody (AVFluIgG03), PABL-587. Hemagglutinin protein of Influenza A H5N1 (A/Vietnam/1194/2004) was used as antigen. The result of western blot is good but the signal of ELISA assay is very weak. These results showed that the antibody may bind to a linear epitope.
