Potent IL-12 Inhibition
We used clone 20E11 to inhibit IL-12 activity in our functional assays. It acted as an effective antagonist against the p75 heterodimer. The results were significant for our study on Th1-type helper cell activity and autoimmune models.
Cross-Reactive with Rhesus
A key advantage for us was the cross-reactivity with rhesus monkey IL-12. This antibody allowed us to translate our findings across species models. It worked well in Western Blot as well, confirming the presence of the cytokine.
