High Affinity Fragment

The di-Fab format of the Alacizumab clone offers a unique advantage for our VEGFR2 (KDR) internalization studies. The smaller size compared to full-length IgG allows for different binding kinetics which we found useful. We used it to track receptor turnover in endothelial cells. The antibody fragment was stable and retained high binding affinity, providing clear fluorescent signals in our microscopy experiments.

Effective for Signaling Research

We employed this Anti-KDR di-Fab to investigate the blocking of VEGF signaling pathways. It effectively bound to the receptor and we could measure the downstream effects on phosphorylation. The recombinant production ensures that the product is free of animal-derived contaminants, which is important for our serum-free cell culture conditions. A very specialized and effective tool for angiogenesis research.
