Recombinant monoclonal antibody 34G9 is a human monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to human MAGEA3 and can be potentially used in the treatment of melanoma and breast cancer.

Antibodies 34G9 and were analyzed by ELISA using plates coated with overlapping peptides spanning the entire MAGEA3-protein.

Antibodies 122G3 and 32H2 were incubated with lysates of SK-MEL-37 cells endogenously expressing MAGEA3 (lane B). Antibody precipitated MAGEA3 protein was detected by Western blot using a MAGEA3 specific antibody. As controls, antibody alone (lane A) or antibody incubated with lysate of HEK 293T cells not expressing MAGEA3 (lane C) was used.
