Recombinant Human Anti-S. aureus Hla Antibody (MEDI4893) (CAT#: PABL-396)
Recombinant Human Antibody (MEDI4893) is capable of binding to S. aureus Hla, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Expressed as the combination of a heavy chain (HC) containing VH from anti-S. aureus Hla mAb and CH1-3 region of human IgG1 and a light chain (LC) encoding VL from anti-S. aureus Hla proteins mAb and CL of human kappa light chain. Exists as a disulfide linked dimer of the HC and LC hetero-dimer under non-reducing condition. MEDI4893 recognizes a novel epitope in the so-called "rim" domain of AT and exerts its neutralizing effect through a dual mechanism. In particular, MEDI4893 not only sterically blocks binding of AT to its cell receptor but also prevents it from adopting a lytic heptameric trans-membrane conformation.
We specialize in custom recombinant antibody production, offering seamless execution from provided sequences to high-quality antibody deliverables, ensuring optimal yield and purity.
Figure 1 Immunofluorescent staining of CCN1 (red) and nuclei (blue) in lung sections from mice immunized (−24 h) with MEDI4893* or c-IgG and then infected with S. aureus for 24 h.
Significance was determined by Mann-Whitney test. Data representative of at least 3 independent experiments (n = 5 mice per group).
