NPs of SARS-CoV, HCoV 229E, and HCoV OC43 were cloned into pET43.1a and expressed as fusion proteins with NusA protein in E. coli. The bacterial lysates were subjected to SDSPAGE, transferred onto PVDF membranes, and analyzed by Western blotting.
