Humanized Anti-SEMA4D Recombinant Antibody (TAB-429CT) (CAT#: TAB-429CT)
This product is a recombinant humanized antibody that recognizes SEMA4D. The antibody was expressed in mammalian cells with chemically defined culture media and was purified by affinity chromatography. The antibody was able to block the interaction of soluble CD100 with its receptor in activated T cells, and prevented the apoptosis of oligodendrocytes in HTLV-1 associated disease. The antibody is IgA, recognize the human form of the CD100 semaphorin via conformational epitopes. The mAb induces release of CD100 and dissociates the CD100-kinase complexes. It is co-mitogenic with CD2 and CD3.
