Recombinant Human monoclonal antibody expressed in CHO binding to Human SERPINE1. The antibody molecules which bind plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (PAI-1) are useful for treating diseases and conditions caused or exacerbated by fibrosis, such as systemic lupus erythromatosus (SLE), scleroderma, pulmonary fibrosis (wherein the disease is not idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF)), diabetic nephropathy, lupus nephritis, graft versus host disease, glomerulonephritis, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, membranous nephropathy, mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis, membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis, renal fibrosis, and COPD.
