Recombinant Anti-FXIa × Anti-FX Bispecific Antibody (Tandem Diabody) (CAT#: TAND-L010)

Recombinant Anti-FXIa × Anti-FX Bispecific Antibody (Tandem Diabody) is a bispecific fusion protein with four binding sites, two of which bind to antigens of one kind of cells and the other two to the other kind of cells. Tandem Diabodies do not carry Fc domains, are smaller than whole IgGs or IgG-derived BsAbs, but larger than tandem scFvs. Therefore, they have a shorter serum half-life than IgGs but remain longer in the circulation compared with tandem scFvs. The cognate antigens that are bound by this bispecific antibody are Factor IXa and Factor X in the coagulation cascade. In healthy subjects, these factors are brought together by coagulation factor VIIIa, which is missing in the bleeding disorder hemophilia A. It was designed for the treatment of bleeding disorder hemophilia A.
