PE-DQB1*03:02/Human GAD2 (IARFKMFPEVKEK) MHC Tetramer (CAT#: MHC-LC3246)
This product is a tetramer of biotinylated peptide/MHC complex with streptavidin mainly composed of human GAD2 of peptide IARFKMFPEVKEK covering 253-265 and DQB1*03:02 molecule. The pMHC tetramer recognizes CD4 T cells, and can be used in the analysis of individual antigen-specific T cells.
MHC tetramer custom production provides a vital tool for researchers seeking to understand and manipulate T-cell immunity with exceptional precision. Please specify your requirements, including peptide sequence, MHC allele, and desired fluorophore etc. We will respond as soon as possible with a tailored solution.

- This gene encodes one of several forms of glutamic acid decarboxylase, identified as a major autoantigen in insulin-dependent diabetes. The enzyme encoded is responsible for catalyzing the production of gamma-aminobutyric acid from L-glutamic acid. A pathogenic role for this enzyme has been identified in the human pancreas since it has been identified as an autoantibody and an autoreactive T cell target in insulin-dependent diabetes. This gene may also play a role in the stiff man syndrome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode the same protein. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2008]
