Safracin B is an novel antibiotic compound produced by Pseudomonas fluorescens. Safracin B showed antitumor activity against L1210 and P388 leukemias and B16 melanoma.Early research indicates that the alpha-carbinolamine structure may plays an important role in the antitumor action of this type of antibiotic.
