Human Anti-40 kDa glycoprotein Recombinant Antibody (clone NR-LU-13) (CAT#: HPAB-S0001-YC)

Provided is a chimeric antibody NR-LU-13. This antibody contains the murine Fv region of NR-LU-10 and therefore comprises the same binding specificity as NR-LU-10. NR-LU-10 is a nominal 150 kilodalton molecular weight murine IgG2b pancarcinoma monoclonal antibody that recognizes an approximately 40 kilodalton glycoprotein antigen expressed on most carcinomas. Thus, this chimeric antibody binds the NR-LU-10 antigen.

Figure 1 Competitive immunoreactivity profile in which the huNR-LU-13 antibody (△) and muNR-LU-10 antibody (■) was allowed to compete with a peroxidase-labeled muNR-LU-10 antibody for binding to an 0.1% NP40 antigen extract from the LS-174T human colon adenocarcinoma cell line.

The huNR-LU-13 antibody exhibited an immunoreactivity profile that was indistinguishable from the muNR-LU-10 antibody.

Lanes 1 and 8, glucose polymers from partial wheat starch digest; Lanes 2 and 5, PNGaseF 1 NANaseIII glycosidic digestions; Lanes 3 and 6, PNGaseF glycosidic digestion; Lanes 4 and 7, PNGaseF 1 b -galactosidase digestions. The two antibodies contain virtually identical profiles in terms of band migration and general appearance. An exception is the slowest migrating N-linked oligosaccharide, greatly reduced in the humanized version, at approximately the G8 position.
