Recombinant Anti-ADAMTS13 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (I-9 var.)

The anti-ADAMTS13 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human ADAMTS13. ADAMTS13 is an enzyme that cleaves von Willebrand Factor, with mutations linked to thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. The antibody has a novel ADAMTS13-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble ADAMTS13 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
