Recombinant Anti-ANXA1 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (SAIC-13C-5G10 var.)

The anti-ANXA1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human ANXA1. ANXA1, a membrane protein, exerts anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting phospholipase A2. The antibody has a novel ANXA1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble ANXA1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
