Recombinant Anti-APCS Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC19)

The anti-APCS eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human APCS. APCS, a glycoprotein, possibly assists in managing apoptotic cells and controlling chromatin degradation. The antibody has a novel APCS-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble APCS from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
