Detection of LDL with phage-displayed antibodies (ScFvB9 and ScFvB9-6) by ELISA. Phage-displayed antibodies were produced from E. coli TG1 with pCAN-ScFvB9 and pCAN-ScFvB9-6. LDL, BSA, and albumin were used as antigen. Each antigen-bound phage-displayed antibody was detected by ELISA using HRP/Anti-M13 conjugated.

Detection of LDL using soluble antibodies (ScFvB9 and ScFvB9-6). Soluble antibodies were produced from E. coli HB2151. Soluble antibodies were detected by ELISA using HRP/Anti-E Tag conjugate; primary antibodies were soluble antibodies ScFvB9 and ScFvB9-6, and secondary antibody was HRP/Anti-E Tag conjugate, which was diluted 1: 10,000 in PBS.

SDS-PAGE and Western blotting of soluble antibodies. Samples were separated by 15% SDS-PAGE and stained with Coomassie brilliant blue (A), and then transferred onto nitrocellulose membrane for Western blot analysis (B). Lanes: 1, ScFvB9 soluble antibody; 2, ScFvB9-6 soluble antibody; 3, proteins in the supernatant of the E. coli HB2151 culture.
