The AbPlus Anti-ASTL Magnetic Beads (7H2) is an innovative affinity resin which is bound with anti-ASTL specific antibody (7H2). The beads were designed for small-scale affinity purification and immunoprecipitation (IP) of ASTL protein under native and denaturing conditions.

- The beads are in suspension and will settle upon storage. Prior to use, mix the vial gently (do not vortex) to ensure delivery of proper bead volume.
Target
- Introduction
- Oocyte-specific oolemmal receptor involved in sperm and egg adhesion and fertilization. Plays a role in the polyspermy inhibition. Probably acts as a protease for the post-fertilization cleavage of ZP2. Cleaves the sperm-binding ZP2 at the surface of the zona pellucida after fertilization and cortical granule exocytosis, rendering the zona pellucida unable to support further sperm binding.
