The CytoStream™ Rabbit Anti-BCAM Recombinant Antibody is specific for human, mouse and rat BCAM. BCAM encodes the Lutheran blood group glycoprotein, part of the immunoglobulin superfamily, serving as a receptor for laminin and potentially involved in epithelial cell cancer and sickle cell disease-related vaso-occlusion. It includes polymorphisms defining Lutheran and Auberger blood group antigens, with two known transcript variants. The anti-BCAM antibody was developed and selected by our CytoStream™ platform and the mAb is recommended for use in flow cytometry staining (1/50-1/100).
