Anti-BCL-2 antibody conjugated liposomes are targeted therapeutic agents that was designed to specifically deliver treatment to B-cell malignancies by binding to the BCL-2 protein. They aim to enhance the apoptotic response in cancer cells by overcoming the protective effects of BCL-2 overexpression, which is linked to poor prognosis and treatment resistance. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
