The anti-C1QTNF9 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human C1QTNF9. C1QTNF9 is associated with hormone activity, related to its paralog C1QTNF9B. The antibody has a novel C1QTNF9-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble C1QTNF9 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
