Recombinant Anti-CCN2 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (C26 var.)

The anti-CCN2 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human, mouse and rat CCN2. CCN2, a mitogenic protein, plays roles in chondrocyte function and is linked to systemic sclerosis. The antibody has a novel CCN2-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble CCN2 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
