The mouse scFv antibody exhibits specific targeting for E-cadherin 17. The scFv targets the extracellular region of CDH17; when used for therapeutic purposes, it can bind to the intact form or the carboxyl-terminally truncated format of CDH17. Therefore, this antibody could be used to target other cancers in which CDH17 is overexpressed.
