The anti-CTLA-4 antibody conjugated liposomes may have cytotoxic effects on T cells. Studies have shown that this combination can enhance the anti-tumor activity of CD8+ T cells and to some extent affect their survival and function. Although the mechanism of action of anti-CTLA-4 primarily involves the inhibition of regulatory T cells to enhance immune responses, the specific cytotoxic mechanisms still require further investigation for confirmation.
