SmartAb™ Recombinant Anti-CXCL9 pH-dependent Antibody (Clone I5-8)

The anti-CXCL9 pH-dependent antibody (clone I5-8) targets human CXCL9 in a pH-dependent manner, with its affinity remaining high at neutral pH but weakening at a lower pH, such as within the acidic environment of endosomes. The anti-CXCL9 acid-switched antibody was engineered by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions. The introduction of histidine substitutions within its Complementarity-Determining Regions (CDRs) enables pH-responsive antigen binding, which leads to enhanced CXCL9 clearance. The antibody operates in a cyclical manner, binding CXCL9 in the extracellular fluid and releasing it in acidified endosomes. CXCL9, or Monokine induced by gamma interferon (MIG), is a chemokine that attracts T-cells and NK cells. It is strongly induced by interferon-gamma and is involved in The anti-viral and anti-tumor immune responses.
