Rabbit Anti-DOCK8 Recombinant Antibody (clone R05-7D3)

CAT#: VS3-FY1701

Clone R05-7D3 is a rabbit IgG recombinant monoclonal antibody that is designed for the specific detection of human DOCK8. The immunogen utilized in its development is a recombinant protein of human DOCK8. The antibody has a calculated molecular weight of 239 kDa and an observed molecular weight of 239 kDa.
The following recommendations serve as a starting point for assay optimization. The actual working concentration may vary and should be determined by the user. The R05-7D3 is recommended for detection of target protein by western blotting (dilution range 1:500-1:1000), immunofluorescence (dilution range 1:50-1:200).

  • Belongs to the DOCK family.
  • Cellular Localization
  • Cell membrane, Cell projection, Cytoplasm, Membrane
  • Post Translation Modifications
  • In response to chemokine CXCL12/SDF-1-alpha stimulation, phosphorylated by PRKCA/PKC-alpha which promotes DOCK8 dissociation from LRCH1.
  • Function
  • Guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) which specifically activates small GTPase CDC42 by exchanging bound GDP for free GTP.
During immune responses, required for interstitial dendritic cell (DC) migration by locally activating CDC42 at the leading edge membrane of DC (By similarity).
Required for CD4⁺ T-cell migration in response to chemokine stimulation by promoting CDC42 activation at T cell leading edge membrane.
Is involved in NK cell cytotoxicity by controlling polarization of microtubule-organizing center (MTOC), and possibly regulating CCDC88B-mediated lytic granule transport to MTOC during cell killing.
