SmartAb™ Recombinant Anti-EFNA4 pH-dependent Antibody (Clone huE22)

The anti-EFNA4 pH-dependent antibody (clone huE22) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human EFNA4. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to EFNA4. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of EFNA4 on cells and tissues. Human EFNA4, or Ephrin-A4, is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored protein that acts as a ligand for Eph receptors. It is involved in cell-cell communication and plays a role in various developmental processes, including axon guidance and tissue morphogenesis.
