Recombinant Anti-FGF1 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (1C9 var.)

The anti-FGF1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human FGF1. FGF1, belonging to the FGF family, stimulates cell migration, proliferation, and organogenesis. The antibody has a novel FGF1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble FGF1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
