Recombinant Anti-FSTL1 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (22B6 var.)

The anti-FSTL1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human FSTL1. FSTL1 shares similarity to follistatin and may relate to rheumatoid arthritis. The antibody has a novel FSTL1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble FSTL1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
