SmartAb™ Recombinant Anti-FUT3 pH-dependent Antibody (Clone PR 5C5)

The anti-FUT3 pH-dependent antibody (clone PR 5C5) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human FUT3. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to FUT3. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of FUT3 on cells and tissues. Human FUT3, or Fucosyltransferase 3, is an enzyme that is involved in the synthesis of Lewis blood group antigens. It is a key player in cell adhesion and is involved in inflammatory processes and cancer metastasis.
