The application of anti-GADD45A antibody-conjugated liposomes in gliomas may enhance drug targeting and therapeutic efficacy by targeting the expression of GADD45A on the surface of tumor cells. These liposomes can effectively deliver drugs, reduce toxicity to normal tissues, and simultaneously increase therapeutic side effects. Through adaptive release in the tumor microenvironment, anti-GADD45A antibody-conjugated liposomes hold promise for improving treatment responses. This targeted therapy strategy may lead to better prognosis and survival rates for patients with gliomas.

- This gene is a member of a group of genes whose transcript levels are increased following stressful growth arrest conditions and treatment with DNA-damaging agents. The protein encoded by this gene responds to environmental stresses by mediating activation of the p38/JNK pathway via MTK1/MEKK4 kinase. The DNA damage-induced transcription of this gene is mediated by both p53-dependent and -independent mechanisms. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
