SmartAb™ Recombinant Anti-GPRC5D pH-dependent Antibody (VS-0825-YC1)

This product is a pH-dependent antibody against human GPRC5D. The pH-switched mAb was engineered by the incorporation of histidine residues into the variable regions of GPRC5D antibody, which could lead to pH-biased GPRC5D binding. The pH-responsive antibody would facilitate precise GPRC5D-targeting of cells and tissues, taking advantage of natural differences in pH across various tissues and subcellular compartments. Human GPRC5D is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family, a large group of cell surface receptors that play a crucial role in cellular signaling. Though its specific function isn't fully understood, GPRC5D is being investigated as a promising therapeutic target for multiple myeloma due to its high expression on the surface of these cancer cells.
