Llama Anti-GRM1 Recombinant Antibody (clone Nb43) (CAT#: VS-0624-FY10)
This product is a Lama glama anti-human mGlu1 recombinant Single Domain Antibody known as Nb43. It exhibits an affinity for both monomers present in the dimeric mGlu1. The interaction of Nb43 with the full-length dimeric mGlu1 results in the adoption of the "Aco" conformation.
We specialize in custom recombinant antibody production, offering seamless execution from provided sequences to high-quality antibody deliverables, ensuring optimal yield and purity.

- Function
- G-protein coupled receptor for glutamate.
Ligand binding causes a conformation change that triggers signaling via guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) and modulates the activity of down-stream effectors.
Signaling activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system.
May participate in the central action of glutamate in the CNS, such as long-term potentiation in the hippocampus and long-term depression in the cerebellum (PubMed:24603153, 28886343, 7476890).
May function in the light response in the retina (By similarity).
