Recombinant monoclonal antibody specially binds to HBV preS2. The neutralizing activity of this human anti-HBV preS2 antibody (ZP39) was approximately 1000 times higher than commercially available polyclonal hepatitis B immune globulin. This production is useful in the prevention of HBY infection.
