The anti-IGFBP2 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human IGFBP2. IGFBP2 is a protein binding IGFs, influencing tumor growth and patient recovery chances. The antibody has a novel IGFBP2-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble IGFBP2 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
