Anti-IL2 Antibody-Cytokine Fusion Protein, scfv (JES6-1)-IL2 (CAT#: VS-0624-FY75)
JES6-1 is a rat monoclonal antibody that can bind to IL-2 to form a complex that enhances sensitivity to LPS (lipopolysaccharide). This product is a anti-IL2 (clone JES6-1) scfv-mouse IL2 immunocytokine. mIL-2 was strategically positioned N-terminally to the VL domain of the light chain construct. The IL-2-JES6-1 immunocytokine has been shown to demonstrate diminished activation of IL-2Rαᴴⁱᵍʰ cells. The IL-2 cytokine was fused to the JES6-1 antibody to form a single-dose fusion protein that retained the exchange mechanism of IL-2 and selectively stimulated the expansion of Treg cells.

- Interleukin-2 (IL-2) is an interleukin, a cytokine signaling molecule in the immune system. It is a 15.5-16 kDa protein that regulates the activity of white blood cells (leukocytes, usually lymphocytes) responsible for immunity.

Target
- Introduction
- The protein encoded by this gene is a secreted cytokine that is important for the proliferation of T and B lymphocytes. The receptor of this cytokine is a heterotrimeric protein complex whose gamma chain is also shared by interleukin 4 (IL4) and interleukin 7 (IL7). The expression of this gene in mature thymocytes is monoallelic, which represents an unusual regulatory mode for controlling the precise expression of a single gene. The targeted disruption of a similar gene in mice leads to ulcerative colitis-like disease, which suggests an essential role of this gene in the immune response to antigenic stimuli.
