Mouse Anti-ITGB3 Recombinant Antibody (clone SZ-21) (CAT#: HPAB-0030-YJ)

This product is a recombinant mouse antibody that recognizes GPIIIa. SZ-21 is cross-reactive with human, rabbit GPIIIa. SZ-21 has the ability to inhibit the binding of fibrinogen to platelets and react with endothelial cells. It functions in the treatment of thrombus.

The platelet lysate (10 µg protein) was subjected to Western blot analysis using monoclonal antibodies against αIIb (SZ22) or β3 (SZ21) as a primary antibody and HRP‐conjugated antimouse IgG (H+L) as a secondary antibody. In parallel, monoclonal antibody against GPIb (WGA‐3) was used as a primary antibody of a positive control. The lysates of transfected COS7 were immunoprecipated by adding the specific αIIb monoclonal antibody M‐148 (Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Inc.) and protein G Sepharose 4 Fast Flow (Pharmacia Biotech.). The proteins eluted by heating the protein G Sepharose 4 Fast Flow with non‐reducing loading buffer was separated by 7.5% SDS‐PAGE, and were blotted to the polyvinylidene fluoride membrane. The blotted membrane was stained with the specific β3 monoclonal antibody SZ‐21 (Beckman Coulter) and AP‐conjugated antimouse IgG (H+L). The bands were visualized by the addition of NBT‐BCIP.
