This product is an ADCC enhanced antibody produced by our Afuco™ platform. Recombinant monoclonal antibody to VEGF Receptor 2. It is a fully human monoclonal antibody (IgG1) for the treatment of solid tumors. It is directed against the vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2). By binding to VEGFR2 it works as a receptor antagonist blocking the binding of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) to VEGFR2. VEGFR2 is known to mediate the majority of the downstream effects of VEGF in angiogenesis.

The DrugMonitor™ Anti-Ramucirumab Antibody (VS-1224-YC978) is an anti-drug antibody (ADA) against Ramucirumab. This drug-based antibody is raised in mice immunized with the Ramucirumab. The anti-Ramucirumab antibody may be used in ELISA, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) analyses, or serves as a reference standard in ADA assays. It also is an excellent tool for therapeutic drug monitoring, allowing to evaluate the drug efficacy and determine the drug concentration of the Ramucirumab in samples.
