SmartAb™ Recombinant Anti-KIT pH-dependent Antibody (Clone Kit2C75)

The anti-KIT pH-dependent antibody (clone Kit2C75) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target chicken KIT. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to KIT. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of KIT on cells and tissues. KIT, also known as CD117, is a receptor tyrosine kinase that is essential for the survival, proliferation, and migration of various cells, including hematopoietic stem cells and mast cells. In humans, it is a key diagnostic marker and therapeutic target for gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST).
