This product is a human monoclonal antibody. This antibody can bind to the lipid A domain of bacterial LPS, which also react with the following Ag: the i Ag present on cord RBC, a ligand on human B lymphocytes, and to certain autoantigens.

Bone marrow specimens were stained with biotin-labeledcontrol IgM (mAb MS2B6) or mAb 216 and CD 19, and analyzed on a Flasher II (an enhanced Becton Dickinson cytomation MoFlo). Bone marrowsample #8 (top) illustrates homogeneous high binding to mAb 216 and sample #12 (bottom) shows a continuum in 216 binding.
